Why you need to invest in your business

by January 28th, 2008 Patrick Greer

A few days ago I wrote an article about 11 great investments. Largely that was a general list of things to consider both for business and your personal life. A list of the things that really matter but the dawudmiricle blog made some great points today about why investing in your business is so critical. It boils down to this;  If you don’t think it’s important enough to invest in your business why should anyone else?  Yes, spend money on efficient marketing and productivity tools but also invest in the education of yourself and your employees, networking and emergency redundancy.  It’s more than money too.  Invest with your time and current resources.

When you invest time, money and resources in your business it will show.  Last week their was discussion about what people would do with a proposed government tax rebate. The first thing that occured to me was we would use such money to invest in our business.  To buy new equipment to enhance a product and services as well as any future endeavors.  How are you investing in your business in 2008?
