When I was speaking to a local group of business people about blogging and in particular, business blogging I did some research on blogs related to the people in attendance. I found a great blog related to real estate and mortgage banking which I was able let one of the people their know about since she was a real estate agent.

The “blog” is called, Behind the Mortgage. I couldn’t really find much there about the owners cat or teenage angst but I’m sure the site is a great source of frequently updated information for real estate agents and mortgage bankers and maybe people looking to buy a home or invest in real estate from the perspective of someone in the business.

Why do I bring this up? They are many misconceptions about what blogging is. A good post that talks about this is

Bag the blogging stereotypes. It’s a good read and I hope you will check out the business blog I mentioned above as well as learn what a blog is and isn’t and think about the potential it can have for you and your business.
