Podcasting
Portable media is media that you can take with you and distribute to others. It can also be viewed and/or heard without a computer. The advantage here is that your potential customers can see and hear news and info from your company even when they are not looking at your web site. The form of portable media we are specializing is Podcasting.
Why restrict current and potential clients to sitting in from of a computer screen? Podcasting frees your compelling content beyond typical computers to portable media players so listeners and viewers can learn and enjoy your message at the gym, out walking, driving or even waiting for a seat at a crowded restaurant.
Add Audio and Video content to your web site and make it available to portable devices to educate and sell your business or organization better.
Podcasts have the ability to be carried on smaller devices like iPods so your listeners can hear or even view your content while at the gym, in the car, walk or played on other devices like portable speakers and T.V. sets.
Have you always wanted to be on the radio or TV?
Now’s your chance (well, sort of).
An audio podcast is a recording (generally 20 minutes long) that sounds like a radio show. It generally has bumper music at the beginning and end with talking, interviewing, discussing, etc. in the middle. When people subscribe to your podcast, they can download it onto their computers and, if they wish, onto their iPods (hence, the name “podcast”).
A video podcast is a video recording much like a television show. Instead of being broadcast on TV, however, it is uploaded to the Internet for people to download onto their computers and video iPods.
Once you start a podcast, you need to keep creating new episodes so people will be inclined to subscribe.
