It's good to take advantage of those free services as far as drawing traffic. I would however suggest a quality of quantity strategy however. It's better to concentrate on the places that have the audience you are trying to reach. I myself I have signed up for a lot of things just to "save my spot" but we all have only so many hours in a day and it's better to put our energies into what works. I put most of my energy into this site which is my official business site however as far as social networks I prefer Facebook over Myspace because if it's cleaner look, reputation and contextual linking within your chosen "network." I use Twitter to get out short messages or feed updates from this web site, my flickr account, etc. to those who follow me. If you will allow me to "toot my own horn" this web site uses a lot of white space, a professional looking header with our branding and easy to find links as well as a blog we can provide constant updates. If you are interested in a professional site with your unique brand just use the the Contact Us link at the top of this page and we will be in touch. Thanks for reading and leaving a comment and adding to the conversation.
