Just Good Stuff
I don’t think this will be our “three word mantra” but I found it interesting the Idea Sandbox Blog referred to us as, “Just Good Stuff” in the categories of blogs they link to. Hopefully we can improve and be know as, “Totally Great Stuff!” Thanks Idea Sandbox, we think you’re good stuff too.

*sigh*
Let me explain.
SpinningSilk Multimedia offers a set of content that didn’t fit the rest of my categories. I didn’t want to smoosh you into some random category… so I made one up just for you…
Perhaps I should have added a comma so it read “Just, Good Stuff.” So you know the word “just” indicates there is *only* good stuff associated with your site vs. some sites have a mix of good and bad.
Example: “If given a choice, Joel would ask for just the good stuff in life.”
However, after reading this post… I realize… Huh, it *could* come across sounding like a category for mediocre.
But that is *not* the category I intended for SpinningSilk Multimedia.
So what I’ve done is to change the category you were listed under in my blog roll from “Just Good Stuff” to “Really Great Stuff”
Long story short you offer a set of compelling content that’s good and a mix that is different than typical sites… That’s good stuff!
Thanks for the link… and your humor!

Oh don’t feel bad. I really did see it as a compliment. No need to sigh. Also I might need to explain what prompted me to post that in the first place. I had someone give me a hard time about using the word, “just” when I would pray in public but he said he heard a lot of people do the same thing. It’s funny because I never meant anything significant by it but grew up hearing a lot of people use the word when they prayed too.
I follow fellow blogger, Phil Gerbyshak whose slogan is “Make it Great!” So anytime I see the word “good” I now try to think if I can replace it with great as in an action I can perform.
Finally I have been working on a short 3-5 word “matra” to describe my business so this combination of my life experiences caused me to notice the “category” and post the short article. I really did mean it as a big thank you and at the same time I wanted to make a promise to my readers and clients that I will not settle for the status quo but continue to improve on what we do.
