Compelling Content – Our First Priority
by October 4th, 2007 Patrick Greer
You may have noticed that we changed our header banner on this web site and you will also be seeing that tag line in print advertising, our e-mail signatures, etc. We have changed our vision statement to
“Committed to creating, organizing and delivering compelling content.”
You may know us by our knowledge of technology related to the web, digital media and e-commerce and we make a very big deal about a distribution technology known as RSS but none of that matters without compelling content. Starting now we are making a commitment to content creation as our first priority. We will not start developing a web site, laying out a print project or setting up a podcast without the content produced beforehand (or at least initial posts, episodes, etc.)
We also realize the creating compelling content is not the first job of many of our clients. We therefore will be offering photography, copy-writing, graphic design and audio and video as an additional service to our web, print and portable media vehicles. We have already started to market our photography services specifically have have seen an increase in business.
By either preparing and giving us your content or contracting with us to help you produce your content your web, print or portable media project will progress at a faster rate. It’s compelling content that get the attention of reader, viewers and listeners, for the web this means an increase in return visits to a web site, in print it means your documents may get passed around and in portable media it means people will stay subscribed.
In future posts I plan on highlighting our customers who are committed to delivering compelling content to their current and potential clients.
